Mercantile Bank Limited

Mercantile Bank Limited seems to believe that ‘education is the backbone of a nation’. To uplift the people of Bangladesh, a developing country, the bank has established a scholarship program on education in 2011. Under three segments, J.S.C, S.S.C, and H.S.C, the bank provides money to the meritorious students from low-income families so that they can continue their studies.  

In 2017, the bank has awarded scholarship worth Tk. 16.00 million to 1102 students. The bank inspires application for the education scholarship from all over the country.  Mercantile Bank Limited is committed to continuing educational support. Recently, the bank has donated 63.70 million to individual students, as well as institutions.
