Situated at 1/A New Bailey Road in the heart of Dhaka, Bangladesh, it has played a pivotal role in shaping the lives of countless individuals.

The school's journey began in 1947 when it was established as the 'Ramana Preparatory School' in Ramana Gymkhana. Impressed by its management, education system, and discipline, Begum Vikarunnisa Noon, the foreign wife of the then Governor of East Pakistan, Mr. Feroze Khan Noon, founded Vikarunnisa Noon School on January 14, 1952, at Bailey Road. Originally named Vikarunnisa Senior Cambridge School, it transitioned to a fully Bengali medium school after Bangladesh's independence in 1972.

Over the years, Vikarunnisa Noon School has expanded its reach and offerings. In 1978, it was upgraded to a higher secondary level, and additional branches were opened to accommodate growing student enrollment. The English medium was introduced in 1995, gradually expanding to higher grades.

In 2004, the school acquired a plot of land at Azimpur, signaling further expansion. Initially intended for relocating the Dhanmondi branch, the acquisition led to the establishment of a new branch named Azimpur branch in 2006, with the official inauguration by the Honorable Prime Minister of Bangladesh.

Presently, Vikarunnisa Noon School operates day and morning branches across Bashundhara, Azimpur, and Dhanmondi, along with an English branch at the main location. With its commitment to providing quality education and fostering holistic development, Vikarunnisa Noon School continues to positively impact the lives of its students and the community.
