STAR Cineplex has several branches all throughout Dhaka. The first branch at Bashundhara City Shopping Complex, Panthapath, has six fully digital cinema screens with the latest cinema screening and sound technology along with stadium seating. With a total capacity of approximately 1600 seats, the theatre has a large lobby with full concession stands serving pop-corns, soft drinks, ice-creams and many other items.
The second branch in Shimanto Shambhar, Dhanmondi has 3 fully digital cinema screens and a capacity of 700 seats. It is well equipped with the latest cinema screening and sound technology.
To further increase its presence, STAR Cineplex opened its third branch in SKS Tower, Mohakhali. The branch brought in advanced seating arrangements along with the latest technology screening and sound systems. There are a total of 3 halls in this branch with a capacity of approximately 500 people and above. This branch focuses on sophistication and comfort of the customers. The halls have spacious seating arrangement with reclining, semi-reclining and lounger seats.
The newest branch of STAR Cineplex is going to open soon in the theatres of the historic Sony Square, Mirpur. The branch will have 3 screens with a total capacity of 777 seats.
In addition to scheduled shows, STAR Cineplex also caters to special corporate bookings, red-carpet premieres and private events.
