The mosque boasts 60 pillars supporting 77 exquisitely curved "low squat domes," with seven central four-sided domes in traditional Bengali style. Over time, the domes have weathered, adding to the mosque's unique charm.Initially established for prayers, the mosque also served as an assembly hall and a madrasa, reflecting its multifaceted role in the community. The large prayer hall features 11 arched doorways on the east and seven each on the north and south, providing ample ventilation and natural light. The interior showcases 11 intricately decorated mihrabs along the west wall, constructed with stonework and terracotta.
