Recognizing the need for a better-trained workforce, Psych College of Medical Science and Technology (SCMST), managed by the Psych Group, was established in 2005 with the mission to create skilled and competent diagnostic medical technologists who would play an integral role in the country's medical system.

SCMST offers a diverse range of programs aimed at addressing various healthcare needs. These include Diploma courses in Medical Technology (covering Pathology, Physiotherapy, Dental, Pharmacy, Nursing, Radiology), MATs, Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery, B.Sc in Physiotherapy, B.Sc in Lab Medicine, and B.Sc in Nursing (both Basic and Post-Basic). To ensure a comprehensive education, the college integrates practical classes and clinical training with theoretical instruction, providing students with real-world experience and hands-on learning.

The college has recruited skilled technologists, experienced MBBS doctors, nurses, BDS, and physiotherapists to deliver high-quality lab classes. Upon completing their diploma courses, students receive assistance from the Job Placement Cell to secure employment, which includes field training in government hospitals.
