Originally formed as the band 'Criteria' by school friends Meraz Mohsin (vocal/guitar), Pavel Areen (drums), and Mashfik Rahman (vocal/guitar), Recall gained momentum with the addition of Tanvir Tori as the lead guitarist after the release of their single 'Ami Ekhono' in 2005.

In 2013, Recall achieved significant success with the release of the music video for their hit single ‘Etota Bhalobashi’ and their unreleased track ‘Jodi’. During the period from 2012 to 2014, the band garnered attention with demos like ‘Prem Shomachar’ and ‘Dirghoshash’, among others. Following the completion of recording for ‘Onnothay’ in 2014, the E.P. was launched worldwide by the music label ‘Mushroom Entertainment Inc.’

The band members embarked on a series of live performances, including engagements with international audiences, solidifying their presence in the Greater Toronto Area alternative rock music scene. With appearances at major universities and music festivals across Ontario, Recall showcased their dynamic talent to a diverse audience.
