Prottyashi as a non-governmental organization started its journey in 1983 and since then it has completed a journey of 37 years with an experience of working in various sectors. Prottyashi’s journey started with a small scale family Planning Program in 1983 and today it has expanded by showing strong presents with 106 branch offices in different upazilas of Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Noakhali, Chandpur, Brahmanbaria, Lakshmipur and Feni Districts. The journey that started with family planning program today stands with projects targeted to extreme poverty reduction, child rights, primary health care, water and sanitation, education, climate change, sustainable agriculture and food security. We are blessed to have partners like US-AID, PKSF, World Bank, Japan Government, ACTION AID, Water Aid, IOM, WorldFish and Govt. of Bangladesh beside us. Throughout this period, we have concentrated on working for short term and long term purposes.
