On 2 July 2014, the Government of Bangladesh passed the Palli Sanchay Act 2014 to shape the Palli Sanchay Bank. The Bank was designed according to Grameen Bank, which was established by Muhammad Yunus. As indicated by the demonstration, the public authority of Bangladesh would claim 51 percent of the offers and individuals from Ektee Bari Ektee Khamar project (One House, One Farm project) would possess rest of the offers. The bank would begin with 10 billion taka approved capital and 2 billion taka settled up capital.The proposition for the bank was restricted by Bangladesh Bank and Bank and Financial Institutions Division of the Ministry of Finance. They suggested that rather than a bank, a monetary organization be made.
