While studying biological sciences at Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science & Technology University (HSTU) in Dinajpur, Sadhan Verma recognized a critical gap – the lack of readily available IT skills development programs.  Determined to become an IT expert himself, he spent four years during his studies independently acquiring skills in software like PowerPoint, Photoshop, and Excel. He didn't stop there; Verma found himself drawn to sharing his knowledge, teaching these applications to friends, juniors, and even seniors at HSTU.

This passion for education led him to take action. Upon graduation in 2017, Verma spearheaded the creation of the "BCE ICT Training Program" for HSTU students and staff. He continues to serve as both Project Director and lead trainer for this program to this day. Verma's vision extended beyond the university campus. In 2018, he founded the North Bengal Information & Communication Technology Laboratory (NBICT LAB) in Dinajpur. Today, NBICT LAB is a thriving company offering IT training, services, and research. Their training programs cater to a wide audience, including students, teachers, unemployed individuals, and corporate professionals. Courses range from fundamental Microsoft Office applications to graphic design, web development, and data analysis. NBICT LAB has a particular focus on emerging fields like data science, machine learning, and the use of CGI in education. Website development services are also offered to their clients.

The COVID-19 pandemic presented a new challenge and opportunity. Recognizing the growing need for online learning platforms, Verma, along with his team, launched CourseBangla.Com on July 23rd, 2020. This online platform serves as an extension of NBICT LAB's exceptional training programs, offering a convenient and accessible way for individuals to acquire in-demand IT skills.
