Additional Requirements

A high level of competency in data visualization, statistical analysis, and report writing is essential, as well as strong knowledge of data governance, analytics tools, and university information systems. The ideal candidate should possess excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage and analyze large datasets and present complex information effectively. Candidates must be proficient in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent software, along with advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and statistical tools like SPSS, R, or Python for data analysis.

Job Responsibilities

The role involves conducting studies related to student enrollment, faculty workload, academic performance, and institutional resource allocation, helping the university understand student dynamics and academic trends. The incumbent will also prepare statistical reports required by external authorities and act as the institutional source for official data and reports. They will collaborate with academic departments and support units to provide data-driven insights that improve student learning, retention, and institutional effectiveness. Additionally, the position requires assisting in preparing university rankings and league table submissions, ensuring data integrity and compliance with relevant regulations, and supporting the implementation of alumni surveys to track career outcomes. The Head of Registry Planning and Information will also be responsible for training faculty and staff on data utilization and reporting while recommending and implementing process improvements that enhance efficiency and service quality.

BRAC University is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic professional to join our team as the Head of Registry Planning and Information. This senior role is responsible for managing the Planning and Information Unit within the Registry, overseeing the collection, organization, interpretation, and evaluation of data to support university decision-making, policy formulation, and student learning assessments. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring data governance, maintaining data quality, and supporting institutional research. Additionally, the incumbent will serve as a senior member of the Academic Office within the Registry and contribute to strategic planning.
