Academic Qualifications

• Post graduation with professional qualifications i.e., CIA/ACCA/ACA/ACMA is required. However, other professional qualifications i.e., FCCA/CRMA or similar ones would be an added advantage

Experience Requirements

• At least 14 years
• 14 years of work experience with reputed bank/financial institutions, preferably within ICC function

Additional Requirements

• Strong command in audit procedures, including planning, techniques, test, and sampling methods involved in conducting audits;
• Strong understanding of regulatory framework of financial industry;
• Strong skills in computerized accounting and auditing record keeping systems;
• Ability to gather, analyze and evaluate facts and to prepare and present concise verbal and written reports; and Ability to work unsupervised.

Job Responsibilities

• Administering the ICC Department of IDCOL;
• Planning, organizing, and carrying out the internal audit function including the preparation of an audit plan;
• Oversight of the compliance function of IDCOL;
• Ensuring adequate and effective internal control system;
• Providing management audit committee and the Board with opinions on the internal controls in the organization;
• Carrying out an independent appraisal of the effectiveness of the policies, procedure, and standards;
• Adding value by acting as a facilitator in business risk management and carrying out value for money reviews;
• Assisting the management and the Board in the effective discharge of their responsibilities; and
• Maintaining liaison with the regulators.
