GUK Eye Hospital is dedicated to providing cost-effective, high-quality eye care services to the people of Bangladesh. Originally established in Bogura district, our hospital has expanded its reach to Dinajpur, Rajshahi, and Dhaka, ensuring accessibility to eye care across multiple regions.
Under the umbrella of Gram Unnayan Karma (GUK), a prominent national-level social development organization founded in 1993 by Dr. Khandaker Alamgir Hossain, our hospital operates with a mission to address socio-economic disparities, alleviate poverty, and create employment opportunities. Since its inception, GUK has been actively involved in various developmental and healthcare initiatives throughout Bangladesh.
Recognizing the prevalence of health risks and eye diseases among the underprivileged members of society, particularly cataracts and other age-related conditions leading to blindness, GUK Eye Hospital was established in 2015. Our goal is aligned with the government's "Vision – 2020" initiative, aiming to provide accessible and affordable eye care services to all segments of the population.
Led by Dr. Khandaker Alamgir Hossain, our hospital is committed to raising awareness and ensuring the availability of treatment facilities for those in need. Through our efforts, we strive to combat preventable blindness and promote a healthier future for the people of Bangladesh.
