Death

I died before death could find my door.

In a single lifetime, I have lived and died a million deaths before.

Yet, no one noticed my corpse, so alive it looked and breathing as it was.

In a dark cave, I would not have looked out for a flicker of light, if only I had known it would be the reason for my demise.

All my un-alive life I yearned for a home, a home far from the mortals, far, somewhere all alone.
