Time
Time seemed long lasting.
But in reality, it was too short to pass,
Everyone kept promises too fake and disappointing.
I always thought it was a task too important, alas!
Nothing seemed that way,
Because I still wait till this day.
In hopes for people to stay true to their word,
In truth walking towards,
An attitude that was already known.
Bonds broken to keep a person alone.
But whom should I trust in a world so picky.
Where the time continues ticking!
And the hours and days rush by.
Where people's words hurt like the thorns of cacti.
I dream for a day where we can open our heart freely,
Until then maybe I shall live discreetly.
