Still blue surfs on grainy white delicacy

Pulp of the sun filtering through orange tapestries,

Upon the musty wooden wardrobe of my room,

Storybook summer turned into a gold Eden.

That was the last ray of the day.

Shadows of the ocean dance around my Atlantis cove,

I lounge on a bed of colored corals,

Plucking pristine plumeria petals,

Wondering if God loves me or not,

Red, pink, blue, purple.

Whalesoul dreamin’, flying in the deep blue world,

Ocean mist, engulf my moving monumental body

To the rhythm of your waves, hypnotized,

Lyrical movements carry heartbeats beneath my feet

Diving pirouettes oh-so-pathetically poetic in complex chaos,

You’ll never see a more serene display of bliss.

Twisting underwater ballet abandoning gravity

I drown in a deluge of saturated sensations

Indulge in the caress of crystallized liquid delights

As they wash over me.

Fair winds carry fragments of my dreams

While my heart was carried against the tide

Left at the bottom of the ocean, forevermore.

It’s the dreams where I saw God creating whales

When He created them, He put a dash

Of their soul in me.

And now I’m blue.

Deep blue.

I see the wonders through the child

Living quietly in my wide whale eyes

Eye to eye with the Creator

He splashes water over my transfixed gaze

I exhale water bubbles,

Streaking leftover trails with my velvet fin

White lines daubed in my memory-soaked heart

Soaked full like water, swelling

Guided gliding up to sunlight smudged droplets

One whiff of his smell and I’m down bad,

I fall cinematically,

My high whalesongs echo to the otherworlds

Starfish wishes tattooed in my chemical corridors

Rise, my ocean spirits, bold, wild and free

Just like me.

Respond to my canorous cosmic choir

The ones who drowned

The ones who lived

You dismantled my wisteria covered walls

Dispelled the silent shadows hazing my poisonous paradise

Let me swim adrift to your haunted ships

Treasures of love frozen for centuries.

My ancient wisdom knows more than I know

The one who gave it to me surely must know

My glistening mermaid body enveloped in quivering cobalt wave

White flowers tremble, don’t know who dropped them

They came to me with tangled seaweed

Along came seashells, small and big

I palm them with the pearls they bring

Blue of the sky and the sea

Connect on twilight hours right here.

Enter the midnight zone

Ominous blue like tonight’s new moon

Home of vampires and alienated glass animals

My undone locks shine black in pride

As I gravitate towards the sable world

I’m blanketed in Luna’s melting seductive whirlpool

Moonshells clink with arcane magic

Pulled closer by the darkest moon I’ve ever seen

Songs are shared, secrets are spilled

Emerging temptations from streams of milk

Waft off of heaven, doors have opened

I lie on the rocks to bask in her allure,

Ripping our flaws to each other.

I see her darker valleys,

And kiss spots where the sun kissed

She sees my siren empathy and spellworks of love

Not all black rituals are bad

As moonsand touches my velvet mat

Someone adorned it with a black crescent moon

And black flowers when my tea is in bloom

Honey in my black tea

I drink it sweet,

My antique teapot holds

Oasis tears I pour into it.

I once saw a faraway beach,

Seraphic silver seascape, a glinting glee,

A boy and a girl danced there with the wind.

Since then, I’ve been dancing with my community.
