This was what Asiya least expected. Something that left her completely baffled and not in the least bit somewhat in anguish. What an unfortunate turn of events indeed!

"Ma! Why did you leave me? I miss the warmth of your love, the hidden concern in your scoldings and your support." shrieked Asiya.

"I never left you. I am always in your heart and soul," replied her Ma

With each passing day, Asiya's physical, mental and emotional state deteriorated. After a few days, Asiya's father remarried to give Asiya the company of a mother.

Asiya was always talking regressively and hauntingly until the day her stepmother entered her life. She secretly overheard her conversation when she was about to enter her room to feed her food with her own hands.

"Ma, come back! Why did you leave my life? For my younger sister? Was I not enough for you? Was my love, respect, care and trust not enough to make you become a mother?" said Asiya.

That day, Hina, her stepmother, discovered the entire truth. She decided to help Asiya rediscover herself and relive her existence.

She entered her room a few hours later and said, " Your Ma is not in this world anymore. She did not leave you for your sister. She just wanted to give you a younger sibling. But she could not be with you to see you with your sister. Because she died moments after her delivery due to internal bleeding." 

Asiya was devastated to learn the truth, which was hidden from her by her father. But a few months later, Asiya could finally accept Hina as her mother.
