Sonnet: Colors of Life
Race of million sperms, comes the conqueror,
Stars gleam, moon-bow smiles beneath the night sky.
Tears of joy, heralded by neonate’s cry?
Age riffles its skin—Melanin or nor!
Seedling grows in black-white beauty on mor.
Rose petals’ curved fringe cuts on heart—won’t dry,
till quartz-spry anthesis dawns there to scry!
Earthling trails the flow of struggle and torr.
Cling to morals, ethics, they coruscate
Dermal shades spume after the sea waves tide
Destined to death, we all share the same fate,
Love quells the dark, when with it, souls collide.
Hues fade with soil, permanent we locate—
We off, our actions glow, here we abide.
