At fir At first Khaled Mashud Pilot was pondering upon the idea of a cricket academy with modern facilities in Rajshahi to develop the cricket in this area. Then he shared his thoughts with the other divisional cricket players of Rajshahi and made a plan to run a cricket academy in Rajshahi. Together with some former cricketers, the likes of Rownok, Sanjoy, Rafiqul and Himel, they started the journey of Clemon Rajshahi Cricket Academy. In the beginning, all the divisional players of Rajshahi helped the academy by donating their man of the match money, TA/DA allowance, various playing equipment and also by their labor. There are a few people and associations who helped the successful launch of Clemon Rajshahi Cricket Academy - Roads and Highway, Jute mill, City Corporation, Sheikh Md. Dollar, Md. Mohiuddin, Saifullah Khan Zem etc. Khaled Mashud Pilot is the main founder of this academy. At the beginning though there were many problems to go forward but the major one was field. Then the academy took Rajshahi Womens Complex field as lease and made it usable which was greatly supported and helped by the City Corporation Mayor Khairuzaman Liton. Mr. Lition also helped the academy by allocating a gym room and financial support. Clemon Rajshahi Cricket Academy’s involvement with Clemon Sports was the turning point for the academy. They were able to get modern cricket facilities to their students very easily. Some of these facilities are- Gym, Modern Cricket gears, wicket, net, bowling machine, video analysis etc. Achievement From this academy Najmul Hossain Shanto has got chance in National under-15 team and Sabbir Hossain in National under-17 team.
