The second season of the ‘Wings Uni Futsal 2019 powered by Hero’ has again came into the limelight with its thrilling futsal contest. The biggest event of its kind in Bangladesh got even bigger this time with 32 renowned public and private universities nationwide. The event has been organized by Wings Clear Lemon Drinks, a concern of Sajeeb Group along with Hero Motorcycle, a concern of Niloy Motors and Walton, Bangladesh. The event will be held from 31st March 2019 till 4th April 2019 at Shaheed Suhrawardi Indoor Stadium Mirpur. The 5-day long contest will be inaugurated by Zahid Hasan Russell, Minister, Ministry of Youth and Sports, MP –Gazipur 2 at the indoor stadium premises. 32 universities will contest each other at group level and 16 teams will face each other in the round of sixteen. The quarter finals, semifinals and final will be held on the 4th of April 2019. The chief guest of the closing ceremony will be Zunaid Ahmed Palak, Honorable State Minister of ICT. The grand event will host 64 matches all together where the youth will interact in a manner beyond expectation. The sport fest will foster brotherhood among the youth and bring forth the importance of a team in achieving a common goal. We, as a nation has so much to achieve and so much to give that we need to unite ourselves with the common goal of making a Prosperous Bangladesh. The Wings Uni Futsal 2019 powered by Hero anticipates to continue its journey to achieve its purpose. ‘The Manager’ the management team of this tournament is determined to give the best in the best possible way. Wings Uni Futsal powered by Hero is 33% bigger in all aspects from the last time. Action speaks louder than words is an adage which generates the inner power in this journey. The Trophy & Team Jersey Revealing and Group Selection took place at the Press Conference of the event on 28th Match 2019 at Dhaka Regency Hotel & Resort. Representatives from Sajeeb Group, Niloy Motors & Walton addressed the press conference of the event. Amirul Islam Babu, member, Executive Committee-BFF; Chairman, Media Committee-BFF; Manager-Bangladesh National Women’s team (Football) was present at the press conference. S M Rifat Menon, CEO, The Manager Ltd. & Shah Zafor Ahamed, COO, The Manager Ltd. also expressed their gratitude during the event.
