Prof. (Dr.) Md. Shahid Karim

Prof. (Dr.) Md. Shahid Karim is a Pediatric Surgeon. He is considered one of the best pediatric surgeons of his generation. He is currently working in Evercare Hospital Dhaka as Coordinator & Senior Consultant in Paediatric Surgery & Paediatric Urology. He obtained his MBBS form Dhaka Medical College, where he received extensive training as a Registrar with a wide exposure to multiple-disciplines of surgery. He was recruited as a surgeon by the world-renowned King Fahad Hospital in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He became a Professor of Pediatric Surgery at the Bangladesh Institute of Child Health and Dhaka Shishu Hospital. Soon after he became the Head of Pediatric Surgery at these institutions.He is specialized in pediatric urology and reconstructive surgery.
