Kuwait Bangladesh Friendship Hospital is a modern facility including only government hospital at Uttara Dhaka. It is a specialized government hospital in the area where people get decent treatment at a low cost. The hospital provides all kinds of treatment with the lowest cost of test. One can get the specialized doctor’s treatment collecting the ticket at only ten taka. The test cost of the hospital is very low you can get more than thirties test facilities including Ultrasonogram, X-Ray, ECG, and Urine test.             

Services are providing:

-Outpatient Dept. (OPD) – 50-Room Consultation Area with the specialized doctor.

-22-Bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and 5-Bed High Dependency Unit (HDU)

-Mother & Child Care including Normal and Painless Delivery, Pre-natal, Midwife, Post-natal Services,  Full Gynecological Services consisting of 32 Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU), and 2 Operating Theatres (OT).

-Diabetes care unit, including an 8-bed Kidney Dialysis service

-Surgical Facilities including 4 OT’s (except Cardiac surgeries)

-Laboratory services: Histopathology Lab, Radiology, & Imaging Department.

Coronavirus Treatment:

The 200-bed Kuwait Bangladesh Friendship Government Hospital has been prepared for coronavirus cases. Though the hospital has a separate ICU and dialysis facility at its isolation unit the hospital does not have an uninterrupted oxygen supply, according to a source unwilling to be identified. 

The 10-bed isolation unit at the Infectious Diseases Hospital also does not meet the criteria, according to experts as there are only two dedicated toilets for the patients. According to international standards, each patient under isolation should have a separate room and bathroom.
