S.B Group, a premium company in the country has initially started a business in 1987 with the hardworking efforts of its Founder Hafizur Rahman Babu. In the first phase, the nature of the business of the company was limited to imports, wholesale, construction, etc. The Group has turned into the biggest group in Bangladesh at an early age. Driven by the ramifications of this success, SB Group geared up to invest in new fields, including manufacturing and trading.

More enterprises were established in the early 1990s, covering diverse activities involving the production of cement. The group experienced this tremendous growth in a span of fewer than 10 years. During this period, additional schemes on land development and real estate were launched and those projects focused more sharply on increasing responsiveness to client needs.
