World Health Organization declared Homoeopathy as a alternative medicine . Government of Bangladesh moved for development of Homoeopathy. As a result "Govt. Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital" established in 1984.It is the only one govment recognization institution in Bangladesh to get bachelor degree in Homoeopathy .The course is Bachelor in Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery (BHMS) ,which is equivalent to MBBS .The course curriculum under Faculty of Pharmacy of "Dhaka University" .It is an institute of Health Department of Bangladesh. Its official name is Govt. Homoeopathic Degree College.
