Global Insurance Limited (GIL) is one of the leading private life insurance companies in Bangladesh. GIL was incorporated on April 23, 2000, as a public limited company under the Companies’ Act, 1913, with a paid-up capital of BDT 60.00 million only. The shares of the company are listed on the Dhaka Stock Exchange as a publicly-traded company in 2005. At present, the company has been operating its business through 20 branches located in different strategically important areas of Bangladesh.
