Dr. M. Quamrul Hassan

Dr. M. Quamrul Hassan is one of the best child health specialists in the country. He has 25 years of experience. Currently he is working as a Senior Consultant in  Paediatrics & Neonatology Department at Evercare Hospital, Dhaka.

He obtained his MBBS from Chittagong Medical College and completed his fellowship in Pediatrics, FCPS, from the then IPG&R and BCPS. Before joining Evercare Hospital Dhaka, he has contributed a lot to establish the Institute of Child and Mother Health (ICMH) and served there as Registrar, Consultant of Pediatrics and an Assistant Professor for 11 years. He has received training from home and abroad, including ICH and Hammersmith Hospital, London & Aga Khan University, Karachi. His training also includes Pediatric Emergency Care and Intensive care. He has made contributions to various national child health programs. As a trainer, he developed numerous training modules, coordinated many training programs and trained many professionals in child health. He is a researcher in the field of child health, child nutrition, newborn care and early childhood development and has been awarded the 2005 Young Researcher Award by BPPF. He has a special interest in Pediatric Chest Diseases, Asthma and Allergy, Pediatric ENT problems, Newborn care, early childhood development, child nutrition, Pediatric emergency and intensive care.
