What to expect from a restaurant? Only good food at a low price? Well, that may be one good reason to personalize a restaurant as 'Great.' But to some, restaurants mean one kind and individualized service that consistently brings out superb food, has an unforgettable ambiance, and furnishes fast customer service. Here are the top ten restaurants in Bangladesh that can give you a momentous meaning of food, place, and the quality time you will spend with your beloved one.
Project Hilsha can bring about the true meaning of dining in an aristocratic environment. From the exterior, the franchise appears to be an entire Hilsa. It includes a plethora of different luminaires and all of the other luxurious facilities on the inside. This restaurant's outside, and interior design elements will mesmerize you. Although the restaurant is stunning during the day, its true splendor shines through at night.
You can eat fried Hilsa straight from the Padma. Buying Hilsa in kilograms is also available here. And your absolute favorite fish will be fried or grilled by Project Hilsa's expert chefs. According to the brochure, the restaurant serves 300 different types of food, notably 24 different Hilsa fish specialties.
The pricing here is slightly higher than other Mawa Ghat local restaurants. Hilsa, for example, is priced per KG at Tk. 1800-TK. 2000, which is roughly Tk. 1200-1400 in a local restaurant. But hey! Great things (tastes) come with a great price!
Location: Project Hilsa, Shimulia Ghat Rd, Louhajang 1535
Holey Artisan Bakery Arose from a love of baking. At least, that is what it seems to me. You will love their motto 'Slow, Beautiful & Precise.' And somehow, their architecture and the environment can give you a soothing, calm, and warm welcome. You can get BREAKFAST, BREAD, CROISSANTS, QUICHE, MORNING BAGELS, SANDWICHES, PANINI GRILL, SALAD, BEEF, PATISSERIE, DONUTS, TARTS, PUFF PASTRY- all kinds of delicious bakery related items here. Perfect place to visit after EID! Or even to get away from the bustling society! Did I mention that it was named one of Dhaka's most beloved restaurants by the New York Times?!
Terrorists brutally attacked the bakery on July 1, 2016. The restaurant was closed following the incident until reopening on January 10, 2017, in the 'Rangs Arcade' building at Gulshan, which the restaurant regarded as safer. In 2019, a second branch, nicknamed ORO, opened at 'Rangs FC Square,' also in Gulshan. I liked the ORO; I hope you will enjoy the interior too!
Location: Oro, Rangs Arcade, 1st Floor, 153/A Madani Ave, Dhaka
Who on earth doesn't like BIRIYANI?! The proper amount of spiciness, significant portions of meat, and perfectly cooked potato are enough to bring water into your mouth. I bet some readers can even sense the fragrance of BIRIYANI right now!
This is the restaurant for you if you are a kacchi or Morog polao person. Nonetheless, I highly suggest kacchi, Jorda for dessert, and borhani for drinks.
Location: 1st Floor, Samsuddin Mansion, House: 41 Road: 52, Dhaka 1212, Bangladesh
The best place to visit on Eid or after Eid with your loved ones is the Pizzu Rooftop restaurant. If there is no electricity, this rooftop restaurant will allow you to cool down! Soothing, wintry air is available without an AC fan in Pizzu! You can also capture your best shots with your friends, family, and loved ones at pizzu. The food will complement your beautiful moments with Dhanmondi's most reasonably priced pizzas. You can get PIZZAS, MOCKTAIL, SET MENU, DESSERTS, MEAT LOVERS PIZZAS, and many more!
Location: 44 Satmasjid Road, Dhanmondi 10/A, Dhanmondi Convention Hall building.
It is a hidden jewel on top of the Rupayan Trade Centre, 200 feet above ground in Dhaka's tangible city. The Green Lounge is unlike any other place. It provides a moment you will remember as you return to the black and white world. Magnificent greeneries, timber décor, and stunning lighting adorn every rooftop restaurant area. The open sky and the fountain running down the center of the rooftop work together to yield everyone who enters Green Lounge a deep sense of peace. It can be a place to unwind amid our hectic lives.
The Green Lounge serves a daily buffet with a vast range of diverse cuisines, and the a la carte menu is only available between 4PM and 10PM. They also offer party planning and catering. For gatherings, you can select a menu of your choice, which the chefs will prepare.
Location: 18th Floor, Rupayan Trade Center 114 Kazi Nazrul Islam Avenue, Banglamotor, Dhaka
Trust me when I say, Chaap is a form of art, and they excel at it. Their well-known restaurant is already delivering deliciousness and excellence on a platter. Their chicken chaap, beef chaap, and crab are outstanding. It's like a culinary paradise with a cozy ambiance, great food, large quantities, healthy selections, and cheap eats!
Chaap ghor cherished their customers' smiles.
Location: 1st Floor, Ali Hossain Plaza, Azampur Kachabazar, Shah Kabir Mazar Road, Dhaka 1230
Hungry Heroes is one of Rajshahi's best fast food restaurants. The restaurant serves a range of foods such as burgers, momo, french fries, chicken fries, and so on. Beverages are also offered.
I tried their Fried Chicken Burger. This massive burger was presented with thick-cut fries and wonderfully cooked chicken on top of well-seasoned coleslaw. You can try these heroes RIGHT NOW!!!
Location: Shahidullah Tower 02, 5th Floor, Rani Bazar Rd, Rajshahi 6100
It is one heaven of travel stops for those travelers from Sylhet. Panshi makes at least a half-dozen distinct bhorta and bhaji recipes for each meal if you want to feel the authentic Bengali gourmet drill. Dhal and a few curries cooked with fresh vegetables, dried fish, or shrimp round out the menu. For the main course, you can choose from a variety of chicken, mutton, beef, or fish dishes that are best tempered with a slice of lime before serving white rice. Last but not least, you can finish your dinner with a cup of mishti doi (sweetened yogurt), a local dessert. That's it! This will hit the right spot, and you will have the burp of satisfaction!
Or, you can also get Hyderabadi Biryani, American Chopsuey, Panshi Food Special Pasta- whichever goes to your boat!
Location: W tower, North Jail Road, Sylhet, Bangladesh.
The only seafood bistro on Cox's Bazar's beach with music as a landscape. The cafe's staff is adamant about serving healthy meals and is prominent for pampering its customers. The location where full moon weddings are frequent, with the roars of the sea serving as the music. If you want to have a meal with a glimpse of the seaside, the rhythm of the sea, and your toes in the sand, there is only one spot to go in Cox's Bazar: The Mermaid Café!
Location: Sugandha Beach, Sea In point, Hotel motel zone, Kolatoli road 4700 Cox's Bazar, Chittagong Division, Bangladesh
Dhanmondi has long been a favorite among connoisseurs. This upmarket residential neighborhood is home to several steak houses that draw foodies from all over the city. Dhanmondians do not need to travel to Gulshan or Banani to appreciate a good supper because there is a HUGE selection of dishes available.
And there is The Lone Star Steakhouse. Especially their 1kg brisket steak that is tender and delicious! It really is GIGANTIC!! The steak with all of the flavors, spices, and herbs is an incredible steak feast! It is slow-cooked and filled with butter. So the texture is creamy on the exterior but juicy from the inside! The brisket is really a delicious item at this steak house!
Location: 2nd Floor, House No 99, Road No 11/A, Satmasjid Road, Dhaka 1209
