Located on 31 kathas of land in the port city, this hospital aims to ensure that garment workers receive proper healthcare and medicines free of cost.

The hospital, which currently has multiple floors completed in its 10-story complex, offers both inpatient and outpatient departments. Equipped with modern pathology services, an ambulance service, and various specialized treatment facilities, the hospital is well-prepared to meet the healthcare needs of its patients. Additionally, it includes general wards and a burn unit, ensuring a wide range of medical services.

BGMEA plans to increase the number of beds to 100 in phases to accommodate more patients. The initiative underscores BGMEA's commitment to the welfare of garment workers, providing them with essential healthcare services in a dedicated facility.

BGMEA president Abdus Salam Murshedy, along with other notable leaders such as Chittagong Development Authority chairman Abdus Salam, BGMEA first vice-president Nasir Uddin Chowdhury, and second vice-president Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin, have been instrumental in the establishment and development of this hospital.
