Barishal Regional Center (RC) stands as a cornerstone among the twelve Regional Centers of Bangladesh Open University (BOU), serving as a vital hub for educational outreach in the southern region of the country. Established on December 10, 1994, the center is strategically located in the heart of Barishal District, within the Rupatali Housing State under Barishal division.Spanning across a sprawling campus of approximately 2 acres, the Regional Center is housed within a well-appointed three-story building, marked by a welcoming and furnished gateway. Anchored by its Regional Director (RD), the center oversees a network of five Sub-Regional Centers (SRCs) located in Jhlakhati, Pirojpur, Bhola, Patuakhali, and Barguna.
