Arbovirus tells this about their name - We only needed a name and found it while one of us was reading a Blade comic. It refers to the virus that transforms a person into a vampire when spread by a vampire's saliva. 

Arbovirus is a musical virus from Bangladesh created in 2002 by Suharto, Ranjan, Ishtiaque, and Ahsan, who had previously been pals. They performed their first show in January 2003. Jishan joined the band as a bassist after appearing in a few shows with a guest bassist. Ishtiaque and Ahsan departed the band for personal reasons, and the band stayed dormant for a while. In the middle of 2003, Shuvo and Tanim joined the band. The band released their debut song for the album Agantuk-2 and received an album deal shortly after its publication. They released two singles in mixed albums titled Lokayoto and Din Bodol. On July 20, 2006, they published their debut album, "64m 53s," which had 12 songs.
