Initially, the institution received financial and technical assistance from SEATO. Today, it offers S.S.C (voc) and short courses, with the objective of producing skilled human resources for employment and foreign currency earning.Recently, the institution upgraded its Computer Graphics Design lab and AutoCAD Lab with support from KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency). The Bureau of Manpower Employment and Training (BMET) has played a pivotal role in human resource development by offering vocational and skill development training through institutional capacities.Rajshahi Technical Training Center has evolved into a Center of Excellence (CoE) in Technical & Vocational Education and Training (TVET) for national development. It is now set to introduce CBT&A programs under the new National Skill Development policy, aiming to impart knowledge and skills to trainees using modern technology in alignment with changes in the local and global market.
