The Sheikh Russell National Gastroliver Institute and Hospital is Bangladesh's first and only specialized medical center for gastrointestinal and liver illnesses. It is the country's largest gastro hepatic hospital. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated this hospital in 2018. This hospital features two intensive care units (ICUs) and sixteen beds.
