Projahnmo Research Foundation (PRF), a Bangladeshi NGO, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of mothers, newborns, children, and families through impactful translational research. Our research endeavors span from formative research for tailored interventions to rigorous testing, evidence generation for scalable interventions, policy advocacy, and implementation research in collaboration with the Bangladesh Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOH&FW).In collaboration with Johns Hopkins University in the USA, PRF maintains cutting-edge rural research facilities in Zakiganj sub-district and urban research sites in Sylhet city corporation area, ensuring comprehensive community- and facility-based research infrastructure. Our foundation has conducted numerous clinical and epidemiological studies, yielding impactful findings published in esteemed international journals and informing global and national health policies.Our vision is a Bangladesh where every woman, newborn, and child, regardless of their setting, experiences optimal physical and mental health. We strive to advance family health, particularly maternal, newborn, and child health, through prioritized clinical-epidemiological research and policy support for MOH and WHO.We aim to expand our partnerships with national and international entities to bolster our capacity and further our mission of promoting health equity and well-being for all.
