Nizam Hasina Foundation Hospital (NHFH) was established in 2010 in the Bhola district in Bangladesh. Nizam-Hasina Foundation Hospital (NHFH) is a non-political, non-government and non-profit organization devoted in volunteering activities for welfare of general people. NHFH is working to establish Islamic ethics, norms and lifestyle and to provide modern education.  Moreover, NHFH focuses to uphold patriotism and establish ethical standards in the society by establishing modern education system Beside Islamic education, providing teaching of modern technology and vocation education/training, providing medical rerererto poor and unprivileged people free of cost, provide food, shelter and education to orphans, conducting awareness programs on public health, mother care, community health, nutrition, drug addiction, etc. The Foundation is determined to keep helping the poor and unprivileged population of the society. The hospital started its activities aiming at treatment of various types of eye ailments.  NHFH GOAL  Increase access to and utilisation of quality, sustainable and accessible eye care services in the most underserved communities of Bhola district in Bangladesh through the implementation of gender sensitive programming approaches.    Our Objectives  Infrastructure development  Improve quality of eye care services in Bhola District through a health systems strengthening approach    Increase Capacity  Increase capacity in human resources for eye health in Bhola District to deliver high quality, accessible and equitable eye health services.    Disease Control  Increase demand for services and provide eye care services, with gender equity in Bhola District.    Research  Identify barriers facing women in accessing eye care services in Bhola District.
