About Us

MILES - Bangladesh's pioneering Bangla Rock Band has been going for 4 decades! We have ten studio albums and three compilations to our glory. Our self-titled debut studio album 'Miles' was released in 1982 and included English numbers, followed by our second album 'A Step Farther' in 1986. After the death of the band's creator, Happy Akhand, in 1987, the crew battled for a few years. After four years, we published Protisruti (Promise), our third studio album and first Bengali record, in 1991.
