Zarreen Farms Limited (ZFL) is a public limited company established in 1997 as a joint venture between M.M. Ispahani Limited and M.M. Agha Limited. The company's primary mission is to produce healthy, high-breed day-old commercial chicks for small-scale farmers. ZFL has made significant strides in creating state-of-the-art facilities to support this goal.In January 1998, ZFL completed the construction of two environmentally controlled houses (ECH), enabling the rearing of parent birds and the production of hatching eggs. This initial phase marked the beginning of ZFL's commitment to quality and innovation in the poultry industry.By 1999, ZFL had expanded its capacity by building two additional ECHs, allowing for the rearing of 16,000 parent birds across a total area of 32,000 square feet. The company continued to invest in technology and infrastructure, acquiring two incubator machines in 2001 and 2002, with hatching capacities of 90,000 and 120,000 eggs, respectively. These additions greatly enhanced ZFL's ability to meet the growing demand for day-old chicks.To further bolster its capacity, ZFL constructed two local sheds in 2002, measuring a combined total of 15,300 square feet, providing space for 5,000 additional parent birds. In 2010 and 2011, the company completed the construction of four more local sheds, adding 47,400 square feet of space to accommodate about 23,000 parent birds.ZFL's consistent expansion and modernization of its facilities underscore the company's dedication to providing high-quality poultry products to the market. Through a combination of technological advancements, strategic partnerships, and a focus on environmental control, Zarreen Farms Limited has established itself as a leader in the poultry hatchery and broiler chicken production industry.
