The center is dedicated to fostering good health and well-being, striving to prevent the unnecessary tragedies caused by non-communicable diseases (NCDs), particularly hypertension and diabetes, ensuring no one remains untreated or unfed.The Hypertension and Research Centre (HTN&RCR) in Rangpur is driven by a passionate and humanitarian interest in conducting research, piloting prevention strategies, and providing treatment for NCDs, with a focus on hypertension and diabetes. The center employs a holistic approach that includes Social Mobilization and Awareness Building (SOC MOB AB), delivering quality services, and ensuring a continuum of care. By enhancing universal accessibility and affordability, particularly for poorer communities, HTN&RCR aims to mitigate the adverse effects of these diseases on life and livelihoods.HTN&RCR is dedicated to conducting research studies and offering affordable, high-quality preventive and curative care for patients affected by hypertension and diabetes. Through outreach and indoor service centers, the center prioritizes universal accessibility, social mobilization, and awareness building to reduce morbidity, mortality, and the negative impacts of these conditions. The ultimate goal is to uphold good health and well-being among the populace, ensuring a healthier, more resilient community.
