Hi-Tech Modern Psychiatric Hospital is a service-oriented private institution that began its journey in 2005 in Manipuripara, Farmgate, at the heart of Dhaka city. Due to the growing demand for psychiatric services, the hospital expanded by opening a new facility in Atibazar, Keraniganj in 2022, 17 years after its establishment.The hospital offers psychotherapy and counseling conducted by experienced clinical psychologists. Recognizing the importance of spiritual and "religious healing" in treating mental illness, these practices are meticulously incorporated into the treatment programs.A unique and exceptional feature of Hi-Tech Modern Psychiatric Hospital is its commitment to providing free treatment to indigent and poor patients.Bangladesh faces a shortage of psychiatrists, with only about 300 professionals in the country. Given the limited number of government mental hospitals, private mental health facilities and clinics have emerged to meet the demand. These private organizations have earned public trust by delivering high-quality services.Hi-Tech Modern Psychiatric Hospital has been providing both outpatient and inpatient services since its inception, with senior psychiatrists such as Prof. Nazimuddaula Chowdhury, Prof. Syed Kamal Hossain, Prof. Anwara Begum, Prof. Enayet Karim, Prof. Ahsanul Habib, Brigadier General Sazzadur Rahman (Retired), Brigadier General Ashfakuzzaman Chowdhury (Retired), and Brigadier General Md.
