Incorporated in 1982, Deep Sea Fishers Ltd is one of the pioneers in Bangladesh in deep sea fishing. Bangladesh has a long sea beach with a 480 km long coastline and an exclusive economic zone spanning 322 km seaward from the base line. The Bay of Bengal offers around 500 species of fish belonging to 133 families of which 65 species are of commercial importance.
