Cox's Bazar is famous for natural beauties. It attracts every body for longest unbroken sandy sea-beach, hills and investment opportunity. Besides that, the means for education, specially college level, in Cox's Bazar District was so limited.Due to that reason, a Hugh number of interested students has to stop their education after completion of successful education of secondary level. Cox's Bazar is famous for natural beauties. It attracts every body for longest unbroken sandy sea-beach, hills and investment opportunity. Besides that, the means for education, specially college level, in Cox's Bazar District was so limited.Due to that reason, a Hugh number of interested students has to stop their education after completion of successful education of secondary level. From that realisation some educated young folk of Cox's Bazar lead by renown educationist Prof Momtajul Haque had taken initiative to established a Private College in Cox's Bazar in 1973. Mr Anwar Sadat, Adv Faridul Alam, Prof Ajit Das was among them. Later Chairman of Cox's Bazar Pourshava Mr Nurl Abser, Politician Mr Ekramul Huda Chy, Journalist Mr Bodiul Alam, Mr Abu Md Jafar Sadeq were involved in that initiatives. By their joint effort with support by every concerned of Cox's Bazar, The Cox's Bazar City College was established in 1993.
