nOn October 17th, 1961, Colonel Ahmed Ali Sheik, T.P.K., the then Station Commander, extended a cordial invitation to Field Marshal Md. Ayub Khan, NPK, H.J., the President of Pakistan, to inaugurate the foundation of this esteemed institution. Established under the Society Registration Act XXI of 1860 by the Chittagong Cantonment Public School Foundation, the institution embarked on its journey on October 23rd, 1961, thanks to the generous contributions of numerous gracious individuals who supported the endeavor both financially and morally, driven by sincerity and generosity.nUnder the leadership of retired Lieutenant Colonel M. Sordar Khan (Army Education Corps), the institution appointed its first Principal, who brought with him extensive experience in both academic and administrative roles in cadet colleges and public schools. With an initial enrollment of 24 students and 3 teachers, the institution began its academic curriculum. By the early 1970s, highly educated and experienced individuals were recruited as teachers, including foreign educators for teaching foreign languages.nOn January 1st, 1971, the institution received its first recognition from the Secondary and Higher Secondary Board of Education, Comilla, introducing the humanities group in Class IX. Despite facing significant losses during the liberation war of 1971, the institution resumed its journey post-independence through the collective efforts of teachers, the Board of Trustees, and the Board of Governors.nRe-established on March 17th, 1972, under the initiative of Brigadier General Mir Showkat Ali BU, psc., the institution underwent a transformation, guided by the collaborative efforts of students, teachers, guardians, and governing body members. Subsequently, the institution fell under the direct supervision of the Bangladesh Army, ensuring its continuous progression.nThe institution's core objectives include imparting education aligned with the syllabi of the board of education and the National University, fostering balanced physical and mental development through an integrated curriculum of academic syllabi and extra-curricular activities, promoting communication among teachers, students, and parents, facilitating holistic growth to enable dynamic leadership in the future, and providing equitable facilities and opportunities for moral, social, physical, and intellectual growth to all students.n
