Established in 1960 by the visionary Late Abdur Razzak Howlader, the Chairman of Chandpura Union Council, this institution has been shaping young minds for over six decades. With its commitment to academic excellence and holistic development, Chandpura Union High School has earned a reputable position among the educational institutions of Barisal.  The school boasts a dedicated faculty of twelve experienced teachers who impart quality education to a student body of approximately four hundred. The institution's academic performance has been consistently commendable, particularly in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Junior School Certificate (JSC) examinations. Notably, in 1972, Chandpura Union High School achieved a remarkable seventh position in the combined merit list of the SSC examination under the Jessore Education Board.
