About Us

Bhola Press Club is a professional organization of journalists and media workers in Bhola district, Bangladesh. It was established in 1972 to promote the welfare and interests of the press and media community in the region. Bhola Press Club is a professional organization of journalists and media workers in Bhola district, Bangladesh. It was established in 1972 to promote the welfare and interests of the press and media community in the region. The club has a building with a library, a conference hall, a computer lab, and a cafeteria. It also organizes various programs and events for its members and the public, such as seminars, workshops, trainings, cultural shows, sports competitions, and social services.nThe club has an 11-member executive committee that is elected by its members for a one-year term. The current president of the club is M Habibur Rahman, who is also the editor of the daily Bhola Barta. The general secretary is Amitav Roy, who is a correspondent for the daily Observer.
